In officially the smallest wedding I’ve ever photographed, Alex and Emma did it right. The flew in from England with eight family members and had an intimate ceremony at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park. They then had drinks, a dinner, and called it a night. It was lovely and I was happy to be there – thanks Alex and Emma. Enjoy!
Ben and Veronica’s intimate destination wedding was held at the amazing Daniel restaurant in Midtown Manhattan. As devout foodies, Ben and Veronica opted to have a ceremony and dinner with a small group of close friends and family. I’ve been lucky enough to eat at some great food while shooting, but it was my first time enjoying a 3 Michelin star dinner at a wedding. Huge thanks to Ben and Veronica for trusting me to document for them (and for the amazing dinner!). Enjoy!
And thanks to my friend and great second shooter: Shawna Stanley. Guys getting ready and the cool bus shot are hers.
This is a tale of geography: I met Meredith when we both lived in Fresno. She and Aaron live in San Diego, but Meredith is from Boston and Aaron is from Canada. Throw in a photographer from New York for a Boston wedding and you’ve got a nice big North American melting pot.
Enjoy the pics! It’s a fun bunch.
Snow + Columbia University + good people + winter wedding = awesome. Enjoy!
Ceremony: St. Paul Chapel at Columbia University
Reception: Morningside Castle

Courtnie and Billy’s wedding was a small, morning wedding in December, though despite being simple it was one of my favorites of the last couple years. There’s some beautiful, quiet moments in there, I hope you enjoy them.
Pete and Catherine found their way to NYC for a well-needed vacation (they live in the UK). Pete’s a wedding photographer and wanted some new pics of the two of them after being married for 6 years with no updated pics. So we started in the Village, went to Brooklyn Bridge Park and finished up on the Kent St. waterfront in Williamsburg. Enjoy!
This year I’ve been lucky enough to photograph for some dear friends that I’ve known for a long time. I went to junior high and high school with Niki, so it was quite the flashback seeing about so many old friends at the wedding. Niki and Mark met and lived in New York before I moved out, but we all connected the very first time I came out to the city from CA. So here’s a handful of my favorites from their incredibly beautiful and happy wedding in San Diego. Enjoy!
A special thanks to my good buddy James Collier helping me out as second shooter this wedding. He has a couple great black and white ceremony shots below.
Lisa and Sam celebrated their wedding at one of my favorite venues in California, Kohl Mansion, and we also managed to stroll through San Francisco in what can only be described as an epic limo bus party. Seriously, I could put together a whole blog post of awesome limo pics. But Lisa and Sam are about as comfortable with each other as any couple I’ve ever photographed, and that palpable chemistry was so fun to shoot, making for both some great big moments, but also some quiet ones. It’s a big post, but there’s a lot of fun stuff in there, so enjoy! (and Happy Birthday Lisa!)
Guys getting ready pics by my homie Derek Tipton
Even though it was a whopping 110 degrees in Fresno for Audra and Karim’s wedding, their day was just a good one with a ton of smiles and happy people. This was my first CA wedding after moving to New York, and I must admit that I missed that sweet California light I’ve grown to know and love, so I took Audra and Karim out during golden hour at my favorite downtown overpass and found some magic. Sweet and happy and down-to-earth, Audra and Karim are the kind of people us wedding photographers are lucky to get when they come around, so a big thank you to them and their families for being so welcoming to me and allowing me to do what I do and shoot some really great moments. Below are some favorites from the day, enjoy.
I’ve known Jonny and his family since I was in the 3rd grade with his younger brother Ryan. So reuniting in Cancun to see friends and document the beautifully relaxed wedding day of Jonny and Aubrey sounded like a great idea. This was my first wedding of the year, and my first wedding after moving to New York, so it was exciting to jump back into it. Here’s a handful of my favorites from the day, enjoy!
